52 Card Dungeon is a tool for GMs. Inside you'll find:

  • A system to quickly create a layout for a brand new dungeon
  • A unique theme to immerse players in
  • A dangerous boss with ideas for an interesting combat
  • A variety of evocative encounters to populate rooms

There are no system-specific rules or statblocks included so you can use the dungeon you made in your favourite system, or even just freestyle the whole thing.

5 dollars isnt too expensive, but I dont have a credit card... it will have more community copies?

more community copies?

I didn't want to steal a community copy from someone else, but I wanted to say this sounds like a really cool idea.

Thank you!

By all means, grab it. I should probably put some more up for the OSR jam anyway.

Backed this project on Kickstarter and it completely exceeded my expectations. This simple tool generates not only a dungeon layout (as I expected) but system-neutral boss fights, traps, non-combat encounters, and more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Glad you enjoyed it!

Bought this on an impulse since I've been looking for more card based generators, and it seems really useful on first read.  As someone running a sandbox, it's going to be great for populating hexes.

I'm pretty sure this system could be adapted for a wilderness point-crawl style adventure instead of just dungeons as well.

Overall a lot of potential for tweaking, in addition to being very useable as-is.  Definitely worth the $5.

Wow, thanks for the kind words. I've definitely put some thought into what else I could do with the system (such that it is).  Short of just swapping out the tables, moving it to a hex grid for bigger maps could be really cool too.
